Young actor Rakesh Varre, who impressed with his role as Sethupathi in the film ‘Baahubali’, is a self-produced film under the banner of Crazy Ants Productions. 2019 Dussehra not only buzzed the theaters but also became one of the most watched Telugu films on Netflix in the last four years.

Now under the banner of Crazy Ants Production, Rakesh Varre is anchoring a new talent and producing a new film called “Pekamedalu” and preparing it for release. Through this film, Vinod Kishan, who acted in hit films like ‘Na Parama Shiva’ and ‘Andagaram’, and newcomer Anusha Krishna are being introduced to the Telugu screen as hero and heroines. Along with them, 50 new actors and highly talented technicians worked for this film. Renowned sound designer Ranganath Ravi, who has provided sound design for films like ‘Angamali Diaries’ and ‘Jallikattu’, and sound mixer Kannan Gunpath have worked on this film.

The film has been given a variant title of ‘Pekamedalu’. The first look, the motion poster, the title is as diverse as it is. In the 360-degree photo of Hyderabad basti and city, the protagonist Vinod Kishan, who is pointing to the sky in the middle, is wearing a lungi, wearing a banyan, a half-length shirt, and wearing spectacles, and is smiling. The title ‘Pekamedalu’ is apt.
